A man of his own vision, Kevin Backstrom devours everything in sight, yet brims with style. With the goal of creating the ultimate all-terrain boot that truly meets his needs, we worked with Kevin to test numerous boots from our collection to identify his favorite features. We combined those elements and iterated on the recipe to develop his signature boot, the Aeris.
For superior board feel, the Aeris features our proven Quantum sole. This sole provides an incredibly direct and responsive ride, with strategic cushioning to dampen vibrations and absorb impact energy. The boot's Sidekick Pro technology uses a high-frequency welding process to fuse lateral and medial reinforcements into the boot's shell. This results in faster edge-to-edge transitions and improved pop during ollies. Double Back provides additional protection from binding abrasion, improving control and precision. The latest generation Aeris also features a Snow Shield to protect the lower part of the boot from snow, ice, and moisture, helping to keep your feet dry.
