SKATE AUTHENTIC
The Authentic was Vans' first shoe, released in 1966. Initially available in just three styles, it became popular among skateboarders in the early '70s.To meet today's demands, Vans has completely redesigned the Authentic and introduced it as the Vans Skate Authentic in the Vans Skate Classics line. The shoe incorporates a tongue strap for a snug fit, a DURACAP underlay for added durability, a SickStick rubber compound outsole for grip, and an internal heel shank for enhanced board feel. While maintaining its classic design, it's been reborn as a modern skate shoe.
