In general, skaters who enjoy flip tricks, manuals, ledges, flat bars, and technical tricks often prefer a board size between 7.75" and 8.25". Those who like to skate large bowls, use handrails, and jump off large gaps and stairs often prefer a board size between 8.25" and 9.0".
