ORIGINAL ART BY STUDIO CARTOONS DELUXE STUDIO CARTOONS DELUXE is a one-man studio run by James Martin, an American-born animator, illustrator, and director currently based in Oslo, Norway.

The studio specializes in hand-drawn frame-by-frame animation, motion graphics and illustration, working with retro manga and comic book aesthetics across a wide range of contemporary media, including science fiction, fantasy, psychedelia, horror, surf, snow and motorsports, as well as artwork and lettering for branding and apparel.

His creative talent has been highly recognized, with his work winning awards such as the Red Dot Design Award 2023 and D&AD 2023. He has worked with clients such as Porsche, Stranger Things, Braindead, Forum Snowboards, and Rennmeister on projects spanning art, animation, illustration, content creation, apparel design, and creative direction.
