LVANS SKATE SK8-HI
The Sk8-Hi first debuted in 1978, offering '80s skaters new functionality and style. Vans has updated this nostalgic shoe with modern technology to create the Vans Skate Sk8-Hi Shoes. Part of the Vans "Skate Classics" line, these shoes redesign the most iconic skate shoe for the modern skateboarding needs. Features include a tongue strap for a snug fit, a DURACAP™ underlay for added durability, SickStick™ rubber compound for added grip, and an internal heel shank for improved board feel, creating a classic yet modern skate shoe.

Sole

Vulcanized:
Vulc shoes are lightweight, flexible, and easy to break in. They don't offer as much protection as cupsoles, but are preferred if you want good board feel in a lightweight, less bulky shoe.

Footbed

PopCush™:
Vans PopCush insoles maintain cushioning and bounce back even after extended wear. This patented foam compound is tuned and tested to provide impact protection, superior cushioning, and energy return. This upgraded foam outperforms Vans' UltraCush™ compound, allowing you to skate longer and harder.

detail

Duracap™:
Developed and tested by the Vans professional skateboarding team, the toe box and ollie area are reinforced with rubber underlays for added durability.

SickStick™:
Based on Vans' original gum rubber formula, SickStick is the grippiest rubber sole Vans has ever made, extensively rider-tested for enhanced grip and durability, while also bonding securely to our foxing tape for maximum board control.
