Introducing the AVE 2.0, a skate shoe that brings together VANS' cutting-edge technology.

The AVE 2.0 is the second signature model for Anthony Van Engelen (aka AVE), a VANS rider who has been at the forefront of the skate scene for over a quarter century. This latest model embodies his fearless skating style and his drive to constantly push boundaries. The upper is made from a single piece of mesh, with a suede panel covering the toe area, heat-bonded without stitching, for added durability. The sole features an UltimateWaffle™ construction, combining a shock-absorbing UltraCush™ insole with a grippy SickStick™ rubber outsole for both cushioning and board feel.

- Luxliner™ lining the tongue, collar, heel counter and underfoot provides a smooth, soft feel against the skin.
The UltimateWaffle™ sole combines a SickStick™ rubber outsole for superior traction, TPU midfoot support, and UltraCush™ shock-absorbing cushioning for a comfortable ride and board feel.
The SickStick™ rubber outsole features a waffle pattern with varying densities for reinforcement in areas prone to wear, while the forefoot and heel are more open for flexibility.
