Introduced in 1992, the Half Cab truly established itself as an innovative icon. '90s street skaters created the Half Cab by customizing the original Vans Caballero pro model by cutting off the collar.
As skateboarding continues to evolve, Vans has completely redesigned the Half Cab, creating the Vans Skate Half Cab, part of the Vans Skate Classics line, refining one of Vans' most iconic skate shoes to meet the needs of modern skateboarding.
The shoe features a tongue strap for a snug fit, a DURACAP underlay for added durability, a SickStick rubber compound outsole for grip, and an internal heel shank for enhanced board feel, creating a modern skate shoe with a classic design.
