Urushi is a paint extracted from the lacquer tree. It has been used to decorate Japanese lacquerware since the Jomon period, approximately 7,000 years ago. We believe that " Deep Red ," made by adding iron oxide and vermilion to lacquer sap, is the color that best reflects the quality and style of our snowboards.
