NIKE SB DUNK LOW FUTURA LABORATORIES
Leonard McGarr (aka Futura) is one of New York City's legendary artists, whose creative vision is constantly evolving and influencing a variety of mediums and genres. Centered around an iconic hand style, his work is difficult to categorize, despite him being one of graffiti's most well-known pioneers. From finding fame on subway cars decades ago to exhibiting his work in renowned galleries and museums today, Futura reimagines spaces with his bold use of color, lettering, and typography.
The stylish design incorporates graphic elements from Futura's paintings into the Dunk silhouette. Set against a bleached canvas backdrop, it's adorned with detailed, colorful overlays, puff print accents, custom tongue labels, insole art, and a translucent sole featuring Futura's iconic signature. Other features include contrast stitching and two-tone pastel laces. The Futura Laboratories Dunk revives the original Dunk SB Low side-toe construction, highlighting Futura's longstanding relationship with Nike SB.
