With the arrival of spring, skateboarding also comes to the Rose City. While most people are enjoying skating outdoors, the Tactics staff and 15 team riders had other plans: to hit the adidas indoor skate park to try out Sam Narvaez's new adidas Pro Model ADV colorway in white and "Key Lime." When the crew arrived, they were greeted by 15 pairs of the new Pro Models lined up on the wall. The gold lettering "Narvaez" emblazoned on top caught their eye, and the crew immediately got to skating.
Let's talk about the details of this shoe. We've already mentioned the gold-embossed "Narvaez" on the side and the white and key lime colorway. Next, let's talk about the structured shell toe box. Like the adidas Super Star, this features a firmer rubber material and texture, offering unique board flick and abrasion protection. It took a little getting used to, but once adjusted, it felt great.

Next, let's talk board feel. This pro model surprisingly has a relatively thin sole. This is unusual for a high-top skate shoe; you'd typically expect a thicker sole. In practice, we felt a solid feel for the board, which made it easy to fine-tune for tricks. The outsole and tread also provided excellent grip on smooth indoor concrete. Overall, our team really enjoyed adidas and Sam Narvaez's new shoes.
