The Tyshawn II is here, the long-awaited second pro model from Tyshawn Jones and adidas. It won't give you the pop to skate on your local train tracks, but at least you'll look like the King of NYC. Perfect size
The first thing Faith noticed about the Tyshawn II was the fit. She normally wears a size 25.5cm, and the size 25cm fit her perfectly. The premium leather upper with a cup sole requires a bit of break-in, but any initial stiffness quickly fades, and the shoe molds to her foot quickly.
Slippery and ready
Traction is key, and the Tyshawn II's outsole features a multi-directional herringbone pattern to help with the foot alignment required for a flip-heavy session.
Optimal grip for slipping
The Tyshawn II is great for skating and comfortable for your off days. The Lightstrike midsole, adapted from adidas running shoes, provides ample cushioning and shock absorption, and has passed the official Face Primo test.
A fusion of classic and modern
The Tyshawn II has a clean, classic silhouette reminiscent of '80s basketball shoes, and Faith put it to the test playing basketball (see video above). It features a perforated toe box for increased breathability and a dual-layered toe cap for added durability. The signature adidas stripes with reflective accents add a subtle yet stylish touch.
evaluation
Overall, the Tyshawn II made a strong impression on the face. It's comfortable, stylish, and extremely durable. If you're looking for a SOTY (Skater of the Year) or a versatile shoe for everyday use, the Tyshawn II is definitely worth considering.
